GO FOR IT— Inaction is Worse Than Failed Action
Make 2025 your year with no regret
Dear Dreamers,
Just go for it.
If I learned anything in 2024, it is that the greatest reward is on the other side of risk.
At the beginning of the year, I wrote in my journal: “In 2024, I am going to minimize regret. I’ve learned that I regret inaction much more than I regret failed action. I need to go for it. Even if I fail, I will have tried.”
That is what I did. I went for it.
I went for a lot.
I started my YouTube automation company. I solo traveled across France. I took the C1 DALPH for French. I started my podcast. I applied to Ivy Leagues.
The point is— I went for it.
Did it all work out? Fu*k no. It never does. It never will.
All of those failed endeavors weren’t failures: they were opportunities to learn, opportunities to get better.
Leap and the net will appear. That saying has been hanging on my kitchen wall my entire life, and it took me until this year to understand what it meant.
Leap and the net will appear means that when you take a leap of faith and dive headfirst into what you’ve been waiting to do, it will work out for the best, but the net doesn’t always look like you think it should.
Sometimes the net is weak.
Sure, you may break through the net and fall to the ground, breaking a few bones; but, you learned your lesson.
Sometimes the net is way closer to the ground than you would like it to be. You feel like you are falling forever. Your suffering seems like it won’t stop. Just at the last second, right before you give up: BOOM! The net appears.
It always will.
In 2024, I learned that the universe rewards risk-takers. The universe rewards those who go after the impossible, those who GO FOR IT.
In 2025, I want you to do the same.
That dream you had about starting a business:
GO FOR IT.
That person you’ve been wanting to ask out:
GO FOR IT.
The conversation you’ve been wanting to have with your boss about a raise that you can’t muster up the courage for:
GO FOR IT.
That trip you’ve been waiting to go for but always felt afraid to spend the money on:
GO FOR IT.
You will watch how much it transforms you to follow your intuition.
I have realized in my life that my intuition can often be spotted by looking for a combination of fear and excitement. If something both scares and excites you, that can be a fun invitation to GO FOR IT.
Dreamers, 2025 is your year. The year you stop overthinking, stop waiting for the “perfect moment,” and start creating the life you’ve always envisioned.
Here’s my challenge for you: write down one thing that both excites and scares you right now. Just one. Then make a plan—no matter how small—to take the first step toward it this week. It could be as simple as sending an email, making a phone call, or setting aside 10 minutes a day to work on that goal.

Let’s hold each other accountable, inspire each other, and celebrate every leap we take—together.
Remember, every great story starts with a risk, a leap, a decision to GO FOR IT. The worst thing that can happen is you’ll fall, learn, and grow.
But the best thing that can happen?
You’ll discover a version of yourself you didn’t even know existed—a version that’s braver, stronger, and more fulfilled than ever before.
So, let’s make 2025 the year of leaping into the unknown and embracing whatever comes next. The net will appear—it always does.
Keep dreaming, keep risking, and most importantly, keep going for it.
With gratitude and courage,
Jack 🌟
